The Wolf of Wall Street Inspirational Speech

In this video, Jordan Belfort, the main character, gives an inspirational speech to his employees. He tells them that that he wants them to “deal with their problems by becoming rich!” We chose to include this piece because it shows how much money affects a person’s drive for success whether it be in a negative or positive way, money and all it entails has a psychological effect on a person. At one point in the video he throws his $40,000 watch into the crowd of employees and the guy who catches it defends it like its his life. The way money controls our decisions and reactions is what we are trying to show by example of this video. It is important to know how to keep yourself from crossing the line from goal oriented and greedy when it comes to money. Don’t let it take control over you like it has for Jordan Belfort.
